MARYLAND: Former US President Joe Biden delivered one of his strongest speeches against President Donald Trump since leaving office, accusing him of corruption, narcissism and incompetence during a Democratic Party fundraiser in Maryland.
Speaking at the event, Biden criticized what he described as Trump’s “vanity projects,” including changes to the White House and other symbolic initiatives. He mocked the projects, saying, “Whoa! What a loser,” drawing applause from supporters.
Biden also alleged that the Trump administration’s actions reflected “brazen, blatant corruption” and claimed the president was prioritizing personal interests over public service. He further criticized proposals related to individuals involved in the January 6 United States Capitol attack, arguing they should not receive taxpayer-funded compensation.
The speech marked one of Biden’s most forceful public appearances since leaving office and underscored the continuing political rivalry between the two leaders as the United States heads toward the next election cycle.
