June 2, 2025 — Pakistan’s annual inflation rate rose to 3.5% in May, up from 0.3% in April, according to data from the statistics bureau. Despite the increase, inflation has cooled significantly from 37.97% in May 2023. The federal budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 is scheduled to be released on June 10.
