Speaking at a ceremony at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, commemorating the 249th anniversary of American independence, PM Sharif highlighted the historical ties and shared democratic values between the two nations.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of mutual respect and collaboration in areas such as trade, agriculture, education, and healthcare. He expressed optimism about the future of Pakistan-U.S. relations, stating that both countries are committed to deepening their partnership.
PM Sharif also acknowledged the role of U.S. President Donald Trump in facilitating recent peace efforts in the region, particularly in de-escalating tensions between Pakistan and India. He praised President Trump’s dedication to promoting global peace and economic growth.
